who are we?
We’re Kurt and Cody—best friends, lovers, and filmmakers.
Our story started in church as teenagers, but thanks to the awkwardness of puberty, we never really got to know each other. Fast forward to college, and fate (or maybe just good course selection) landed us in the same filmmaking program.
Working on projects together—late-night edits, brainstorming sessions, and countless cups of coffee—turned camaraderie into something more. What started as “Hey, maybe Kurt/Cody isn’t so bad” quickly became a crush, then a relationship, and before we knew it, we were inseparable.
After graduation, we took a leap of faith and launched Retrosight Studios, turning our shared passion for storytelling into something bigger than ourselves. Now, we strive create films that reflect the heart behind every story and the wonderful creations that God has made.
